Good For the Soul!

I am beyond thrilled to share with you all that I will be a guest instructor (Sous Chef) for Soul Food 2015 at Community Thrive!

To get ready for the coming year, all of the Sous Chefs have conducted Artist Interviews so you can get to know them better.  You can view the other interviews Here.

TODAY, I will be sharing a few things about myself in my Soul Food Interview! Not only will you get to know a little more about me, but you will also have a chance to win a FREE Soul Food 2015 workshop by leaving a comment below!  I will be choosing a winner at random by Noon on December 1st and notify the winner.  Please be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you!

    Hello Lorraine,
lovely to meet you. You sound like an artist after my own heart. I can’t resist just playing with different mediums, and often find a deep spirituality whilst working. I would love to be included in your draw for a place on soul Food 2015 XXX

Hello Lorraine, great video – I can relate to so many things you had to say! (Love your whimsical girl painting – the colours are gorgeous!) I would love to win a place in the Soul Food class, and thank you for the chance of taking part. God Bless.

Thank you for the interview! I love your quote from Roosevelt! Because I am always questioning myself. I have fallen in love with drawing, painting, mixed media,…… I do the same thing you said, when looking at people, places, things, I’m always painting the picture in my mind. I almost have a problem when driving sometimes, watching the clouds, and landscape, I’m constantly seeing it as a painting and thinking of how I would paint it. I’ve been painting a few years now. I love it, I’ve got lots of paintings stacked up LOL. I am trying to find that one thing, but I am kinda all over the place like you describe. I love it! I’d love to be your choice in a space in the Soul Food Class! Thanks for the opportunity!!

I look forward to meeting you in Soul Food 2015! Since I am currently in the frozen tundra of Minnesosta, USA I LOVED hearing about your Caribbean art. I could use a beach scene and a hammock about now – lol

I stumbled across this while searching for art journal inspiration. What an exciting opportunity for you and so wonderful you are giving someone the chance to join the journey. I have been unable to art journal/craft for going on two years now, but have decided that I desperately need that part of my life back in 2015.
