I hope you will enjoy a peek into my creative process as I launch my new free series, “Art In Motion – Watch The Process.” I’lI take you through the evolution of an art journal page in this first video entitled “Agape.”
I had the pleasure of working with Dina Wakely’s new line of Mixed Media paints and brushes by Ranger Industries and Dyan Revealey’s Dylusions Creative Journal. I hope you have as much fun watching as I did creating!
Look for future videos coming soon!

Thanks for your comments – I love making videos!
I love your process! Thanks for sharing….one question….your paint seems to flow so effortlessly, do you use a dry brush, mix water with paint, any tips????? Great video!!!!!
Great question! Dina Wakely’s paints are "heavy body" so they are quite thick. I watered them down a bit to get them to flow how and where I wanted. Thank you and thanks for watching!
Fabulous…I too liked watching the many layers going down and the face has so much depth. I also like the napkin with the raindrop motif on it. Thank you for sharing.
I’m so happy you liked it! Thanks for watching!
We think you are awesome! Most impressive! Emmi says you inspired her. Casey, too. Love.
Awww, thanks! I love you guys!
Lorraine, beautiful beautiful page! Love all the colors. Just one question, do you rinse the paintbrushes in water between colors or do you have a different brush for each color. Thanks, Sue
Hi Susan – thank you so much. I don’t tend to use different brushes for different colors when working with acrylic – the paint dries too fast. When I’m working with oils, I will have several brushes in my hand at the same time, but that’s a whole other process! For this project, I was constantly dipping my brush in water as the paints were "heavy body," very thick and I wanted to thin them down. I am constantly using water and a rag to get just what I want from the brush to the paper. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
WOW is all that comes out of me. The colors are astonishing and beautiful. Did your vacation provide energy for this? The music was so fitting, too. Can’t wait for the 2nd installment.
Thank you so much Mary! The vacation definitely helped!
Awesome video and I LOVE the concept of this series!! I can’t wait to see more!
