I try to pick up all of Somersets’ publications when I can! Art Journaling is always an absolute must, just has so much inspiration, ideas, etc. For me personally, it allows me to think outside-the-box of my own mind, by seeing what other people are doing, opens me up for new ideas/opportunities/techniques. Also helps jump start my creativity on those days when I’m feeling down, or the juices aren’t flowing freely in my head. Absolutely lovely magazine!

What is not to love about Art Journaling Magazine? Inspiration times a trillion! Love seeing all the amazing creations that just make me want to play all day!

  41. joni o'lague

i used to be into writing more than art. my older sister was always the artist of the family and i would just watch her techniques and take art classes in high school with no true aim.
now that i am older and work at a arts and crafts store, i have fallen head over heels for the papercrafts (among many other crafts).
i have problems keeping awake these days (being stationary puts me right out. reading, knitting, watching a movie and i am out) but when i sit at my craft station in the corner of my room, i am wide awake and using some part of my brain that rebels against my dreaded fatigue!
i get to create, which i find very important in life, and it combines my first love of writing with my new flame, journaling.
i joined dlp this year and it has changed my life 🙂 congrats! i love somerset magazines ! it’s how i found you ladies when roben was published in the somerset memories autumn 2014 edition. then i impatiently waited for the new year to join the dlp!
