FAQS
it is the liability of the user to read throughAn e-course is an online course that is available through and hosted on this website. Each course is a separate product and has its own classroom. You may only access a course if you are a member of this site and have registered for each individual course. Courses contain video lessons and downloadable resources which you will have access to once enrolled in the course.
Art supplies can range from beginner to student-grade to professional quality, which can be quite costly. I always encourage students to purchase the bare-minimum required when they start until they are certain they like the medium they are using and before making any significant investment. I will usually recommend products in several price points for the courses.
I also encourage you to use what you may have on hand.
You will have life-time* unlimited access to your course. You will be able to sign on at your convenience and review the lessons at your own pace.
*Life-time refers to the life of this website. For as long as I own and operate this site, and I hope this is a very long time, you will have access. In the event that the site closes at some point, you will have ample notice to review the classes before they close.
Yes. Some of the courses involve a fee, however there are several workshops and tutorials that are available at no cost. I am always adding new courses in both categories.
Once purchased, online courses and digital products are non-refundable.
All of your courses can be found under Your Account Page that is in the Navigation Bar across the top of the site, a link at the bottom of the site and when you are in a course, it is in the course Navigation.
Well, it depends. I work very hard from conception to final version to develop courses and products for your enjoyment and education. Please honor that hard work and my intellectual property by not sharing your password, access, techniques or process with anyone else.
Having said that, it is acceptable and encouraged to share your finished projects (without giving away the process). Ultimately, I am teaching you techniques in the hopes that you will develop your own way and style of doing things. It would be greatly appreciated if when you share, you give credit to the course and this site, LorraineBell.com.
Again, it is my sincere hope that you will make your art work your own and develop your own style as you learn. You may create things from the online courses to sell, however they must not resemble in any way, something that you created in the online course – it must not be a derivative of or merely and altered version, it must be completely original. The best policy, if you are in doubt, is to contact me at Lorraine@lorrainebell.com with any questions.
In the artist community, we use an “Angel Policy” or an honor system and ask that you not share information or teach others what you have learned in my online courses.

On occasion, I have done commissioned work for patrons. I would be happy to consider a commission request and if we both have similar visions, it may be possible to work together. Please contact me at lorraine@lorrainebell.com with any requests.
Private sketching and watercolor lessons are available in some circumstances through Zoom or other online conferencing platforms and occasionally in my home studio. Contact me for details and pricing at lorraine@lorrainebell.com.
I love being with fellow creatives and would love to chat about any ideas or events you may have. Please contact me at lorraine@lorrainebell.com to discuss!
